Hearing Voices and Bereavement

We have an information resource about hearing voices, grief and bereavement for young people.

A Little Insight

In 2012, a group of five (aged 13-18) young people took part in an animation workshop to develop a short stigma-busting film about their experiences of hearing voices. This film was designed, scripted, created & edited by the young people - all of whom are supported by Voice Collective - and Chocolate Films.

Voice Collective and Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA)

In 2018, Voice Collective teamed up with Fitzrovia Youth in Action to support two talented young people to make films about what it’s like for them to hear voices.

The two young people wrote scripts, directed filming and worked with an animator to produce their films, which help us understand what it’s like being them:
