Getting support at Voice Collective
We’re a very small team who all work part time, so we’re not able to offer crisis support and it can take us a little while to get back to everyone who contacts us.
If it’s an emergency or you need help quickly, these services and contact numbers might be helpful:
Just so you know, whatever you choose to share with us is private. We’ll only share something outside the Voice Collective team if we are very worried about your safety or the safety of someone else.
Online peer support groups
We hold facilitated peer support groups on Zoom for young people aged 11-15 and 16-25, and for parents and carers of young people who hear, see, or sense things that others don’t. The groups are open to people based anywhere, but there may be a short waiting list. Please fill out a form for the group you would like to join, or email us at info@voicecollective.co.uk if you have questions.
Individual support for young people via email
We offer ongoing, one-to-one emotional support by email for young people aged 25 and under who hear voices or who have other unusual experiences. Open to young people based anywhere. Please email us to say hello at info@voicecollective.co.uk (it can take us a few weeks to reply at first but we always will when we can!)
Individual support for young people via Zoom, phone, or in person
For young people aged 25 and under who are based in London we can offer one-to-one emotional support sessions either in-person in Camden, or via Zoom, or on the phone. We can meet as few or as many times as you like, usually around once a month. If you might like to talk to one of us about what’s going on for you, please send us an email at info@voicecollective.co.uk
Online peer support community on Discord
We host an online peer support community for young people who hear voices or have other sensory experiences on a private moderated Discord server, with dedicated areas for ages 13-15 and 16-25. If you are interested in joining the server please email us at info@voicecollective.co.uk
Support, information, and advice for carers and professionals
If you are supporting a child or young person who is hearing voices, seeing things, or struggling with difficult beliefs you are welcome to email us at info@voicecollective.co.uk with any questions or concerns you might have and we will do our best to help. We are a very small team and we receive a lot of queries so it might be a few weeks before we can reply but we always will as soon as we can. In the meantime, take a look at our resources for family members and professionals.
